Booked this place for my partner's birthday, and everything was amazing! Fresh seasonal ingredients. Good pace of serving dishes. Felt full but not overly stuffed at the end. We got the basic tier omakase (CHIKU) $165 per person. The other guests next to us had the luxury tier omakase (SHOU) $210 per person, so we got to compare the two. Honestly, chiku was such a good value - shou came with uni, scallops, and better cuts of meat, but the amount of dishes were the same (i think??). They have different chefs with different specialties making the food - so the fish expert, tempura expert, and then all else expert lol. Ours was the fall menu, and I just love how innovative they were with all the dishes. Everything had something we enjoyed! We both had lived in Japan for 3 years, so we know what good Japanese food is, and all the dishes wow'd us!! As mentioned earlier, it was my partner's birthday, so when I booked over the phone, I asked if they could write Happy birthday in Japanese, and they wrote it on a note and had it on the table when we arrived. Not only that, but they had a little happy birthday chocolate placard for his dessert! So sweet and accommodating! If you have allergies or food items you don't enjoy, you should call in and let them know! Great job Kaiseki Yuzu team!! Will come again for special occasions!!

Take heart: this is not for picky eaters. This culinary experience perfectly takes the traditional flavors of Japan and adds a unique touch. Each dish was a delight to the senses, with impeccable plating and a wonderful blend of flavors. The staff was well-prepared and catered to your every need, while the chefs prepared the courses with impeccable precision. Every aspect, including the elegant atmosphere, mirrored the beauty of Japan. Verdict: this is truly a masterpiece of fine dining.

Las vegas - Wow. So happy to see how far Kaiseki Yuzu has come. Came here almost 10 years ago, when the restaurant looked entirely different, not even sure if it's the same location, and can't believe I didn't write them a review! I found out about them on Yelp! So happy to see them still doing well and even got nominated with a James beard award! It's still one of the most memorable meals I've had. Thoroughly impressed with the taste, quality and presentation of our kaiseki meal. When we went, it was just our table plus maybe 2 other tables, and it was just $100 per person which was a great deal. Now it's $165 minimum, which isn't too bad considering that's 10 years later. I still remember there was this yuzu dessert that was amazing, and how there were some edible flowers. Will be back one day!

One of the best dining experiences I've had, both in Vegas and in Japan. I treated my wife's birthday dinner -- the special seasonal menu in July that centered on the snow-aged wagyu and unagi. Every course was top notch, beautifully presented, with quality ingredients. My favorite course was the wagyu -- flame seared, with foie gras, top with shaved black truffles. Truly decadent in every way. The A5 30-day snow aged wagyu didn't taste as heavy and fatty as regular A5 wagyu. This was definitely a splurge with the special kaiseki menu, but I will definitely return to try their more "affordable" kaiseki menu at $165. Service was efficient and personable, we got lucky because another party canceled so it felt like a private dining experience.

Yelp Review 2024 #88: We came here on my first birthday dinner (for a month-long celebration). A reservation was made beforehand. I don't think they take walk-ins as the restaurant is small and intimate. And they only have 2 timed seatings: 5:30pm and 8pm. We got there 15 minutes early but the door was locked. They're located next to a Japanese market. Once we entered, we got escorted to a small room. With your reservation, you have to select which menu option you want and it's kind of tricky because the website doesn't explicitly spell out what you're going to get. So, we just picked a random set menu and hoped we picked a good one. Their kaiseki service is about a 2-hour experience. Everybody gets to sit at the sushi bar and you'll enjoy the view of the chefs preparing your food in front of you. We had about 10 courses and every presentation was remarkable. They present the slabs of fish and slice them in front of you. On the left side of the bar is the certificate about the wagyu beef they're serving you. Our meal consisted of tuna, fatty tuna, wakamomo (baby peach), miso soup, eel, wagyu, tofu, sushi, handroll, soba, and a matcha dessert. I love matcha and I was very glad that's their dessert of the month. It was a good variety without being too filling. We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate my birthday (one of many celebrations). They had 3 chefs: 2 straight from Japan, and John (Japanese-American sushi chef). 2 lovely and attentive servers who explained each dish so eloquently. Their dress code is business casual but there were people wearing casual outfits (shorts, t-shirt and trainers). It's a nice dining experience and not AYCE so dress accordingly.

A truly phenomenal experience. It's so beautiful to watch these amazing chefs prepare tiny morsels filled with flavor. Every bite is a delicacy and every plate a piece of art. We did the chiku menu for my birthday and we were so full at the end. The most beautiful ambiance and impeccable service every step of the way!

Food: another delicious Kaiseki meal. We had the Chiku menu, which is the lower tier menu at $165 per person and was comprised of 9 beautifully thought out and designed seasonal dishes. Each a work of art and wonderfully different textures and tastes to please. Service: always impeccable. My japanese mother was even impressed! We took her there to celebrate her birthday. They even accommodated me and were able to give me fish instead of beef during the grilled course since I don't eat meat. Ambiance: I requested the private room and although you can't reserve it, we were fortunate enough to get it, so I was very pleased at the privacy. Tip: you need to reserve with a credit card and cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance or you will be charged in full due to the uniqueness of their meals. This is a wonderful place for a special occasion. Highly recommend!
